You will notice that the editor when writing a new article has undergone changes. The new editor has been streamlined to basic functionality to promote article layout consistency across all pages.
This upgrade now prohibits the use of HTML within the article body. This was a necessary action due to the increase of new authors and article submissions. Please note that linking to keywords, using anchor tags, customizing fonts, and/or embedding images inside of the body editor is no longer supported.
HTML is still supported in all resource editors to allow for the submission of resource links. Please note that resource boxes should not be abused and that a maximum of 2 outbound links are allowed. Images or any other use of HTML is not allowed within resource boxes.
Let us know if there are any questions regarding this change.

Always remember to use effective keywords while constructing your articles. It’s true that major search engines such as Google do not use keywords to determine search results but many search engines still do. The use of effective keywords are still valuable and should never be overlooked when writing a new article. So remember to always enter up to 7 relevant keywords for your article in the keyword meta data section during article creation.
Though most major search engines ignore meta keywords, they are still important in that they help articles appear more often within Article Noodle during relevant article views and internal searches as well as listings with smaller search engines.
It’s important to limit meta keywords to no more than 7 keywords and/or keyword phrases. Excessive keywords may actually be harmful and viewed negatively by the search engines that use them so don’t overdo it.
So, use effective and descriptive keywords to propel your articles to the front of Article Noodle search results and ahead of the rest for the other search engines that use them. For authors enrolled in the revenue sharing program and are seeking to earn money from articles, using effective keywords should always be incorporated into any article earning campaign.

In the decision to allow all users of the site to police articles for quality control, the “report article” function has now been added to articles submitted to Article Noodle. A simple link has been embedded within all past and future articles.
The link can be found towards the end of the article adjacent to the “rate this article” feature.
After clicking on the report article link, a new browser window will open which will allow users to submit a complaint for any article suspected of being in violation of the publishing guidelines.
To complete the complaint form, include the offending article’s title so that we may quickly access and review the complaint and determine whether the article is in violation. Optionally, include the author’s name and the article’s ID. The article ID can quickly be found in the article’s URL and are the numbers immediately proceeding the article title in the URL.
A comment box is also available for users needing to supply additional information for the review process.
The ability for users of the site to view and report inappropriate articles is surely to keep the directory respectable and the reporting of articles suspected of being in violation is highly encouraged.
